Casa Loma's haunted house is as spooky as ever
Visitors interested in learning about Toronto's sordid past can traipse through the Dark Side Tunnel Exhibit, an 800-foot tunnel under Casa Loma that connects the main house to the stables. The tunnel is lined with archival photographs of Toronto's "dark" years during the Prohibition, the Depression, the Plague, the Great Toronto Fire, as well as the very first plane crash in Toronto.

The secret chambers, the long dark and dimly lit corridors and narrow staircases provide the perfect backdrop for an atmosphere of fear and uneasiness. And on the COVID-19 front — as Casa Loma returns to present its annual Halloween installation, after being cancelled last year on the eve of opening — there's nothing to fear.

This summer Casa Loma is going to be hosting a series of magical after dark events! Throughout the summer you will be able to enjoy a series of concerts along with Just For Laughs Comedy. It is hard to picture a more amazing summer evening than heading to a castle, where you can explore the estate gardens and enjoy a performance under the stars!

Casa Loma will be closed Christmas Day December 25th. 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for touring (Last guest admission: 4:30 p.m.) Notes: The Gardens will close at 4pm Monday - Wednesday and 3pm Thursday - Sunday. The Scottish Tower closes early on select days to accomodate the Escape Casa Loma Series. Wednesday, Thursday & Friday the Scottish.
